Is your website not appearing high enough in Google’s search results?

Here’s one way you can improve that. And, it’s actually with the help of Google itself.

Google Search Console (GSC) is service that “helps monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot your site’s presence in Google Search results”.

Check out the video below if you’re wanting to learn a bit more about Google Search Console:

Using GSC is something all digital marketers should consider. As shown in the video above, GSC has a range of features that allows digital marketers to evaluate their site’s performance and helps highlight areas that can be optimised to improve search ranking.

GSC provides valuable site traffic data. This includes the frequency of your site appearing in results, the search queries that display your site, and how often people are searching these queries. It even shows what country people are searching from, and which device they are using to search.

This information can be extremely useful for digital marketers. For example, by identifying the search queries that have a lower click through rate (CTR) than others, the site’s content can be optimised cater for these queries. GSC allows you to select the search query that you want to optimise and will show you which page/s to improve. The more relevant your site is to the queries people are searching on Google, the higher your CTR and organic ranking.

  2. Wow this tool will definitely help business save time trying to figure out what is wrong and what needs to improve with their website. Search queries would definitely tell the company what people are actually looking for and maybe they might want to include whatever their searching for if it does not already exist on their website to prevent them from going to a competitor site.
